REAL FC CLUB WELFARE - SEASON 2019/2020

Every child's safety and happiness is at the heart of what we are trying to achieve at Real FC. The Welfare of everyone involved at Real FC in particular the young players under our care is of utmost importance to us.

All coaching staff at Real FC have enhanced DBS checks done directly through the company. As a matter of course all staff also have fully in date child protection / safeguarding certificates, along with their Emergency First Aid qualifications. These are all conducted through statutory government agencies and tailored directly to what we are looking to do and achieve at the Club.

We will also build on the strong links we have in place with the physiotherapy (Jon W Sports Injury) and child counselling service (My Space to Think) so that we can ensure the continuation of procedures to assist any child physically and emotionally as they grow and develop through the Club.

Below we have a link to the Clubs, Safeguarding Children Policy along with all the Clubs policies and Codes of Conduct. Please take the time to browse through these and become more familiar with them.

Faye is a fully qualified and experienced counsellor for children and young adults based in Warlingham. She offers support and a confidential, non-judgmental space to help find relief from overwhelming and confusing feelings.

If your child is.. scared, sad, confused, anxious, worried, angry, lonely? Suffered bereavement? Struggling in or out of school? Desperate to feel 'normal' or to make friends?

Every child can lose their way at some point and having a consistent and confidential space to go where they feel safe enough to explore even the most difficult of feelings can be extremely effective and can offer immense relief. This is what Faye is training to do and passionate about providing.. A space to think.
